It has been a little while since I have blogged. All I can say is that time has been moving on. We have been busy with life, and I haven't really had much to say. The kids are all busy with their school work; however, we have been taking advantage of the sunshine(although, it is infrequent). We have approximately eleven more weeks left of this school year. We are taking a brief break next week and are looking forward to a trip to see great grandpa (my papa). I am not sure who is more excited, me, the kids or my papa. School will pick right back up on our return, and we will work hard to finish by the end of May.
We are entering our families busiest season of the year... Yes, It is Time for Baseball! Brad has been working at every free moment to set up and organize all the things necessary for our city league. He Loves the Game, and He loves teaching the game and sharing his love of the game with children even more. We will have tryouts at the end of the month, the draft, and then practices begin the first of April. All of our games will be played throughout the months of May and June. Tournaments will be played after that ... and yes, by that time the summer is half over. Only three of our four boys have decided to play this year. We are so excited because Nolan will get to continue to play due to some league changes bringing 13-15 yr olds back into the city league. Garrett will play the 11 yr old division, Levi will remain in Tball, and Nate has opted to not play (he thinks he may be interested in taking Golf lessons). Even with one less player, mom will be at the ball fields almost every night of the week. As I discovered at the end of last year, I really do love being a "baseball" mom. It has become a "way of life" for us, and my oh my! time passes so quickly...my goal this year...to soak it all in and treasure each moment to its fullest. The girls will continue dance until the last week of May. Their dance recital is on May 24th this year and will be an all day event.
So, as you can see,Life just keeps on keeping on...
